Are Mangos with White patches in the flesh OK?

I have posted this on the home cooking board and received no responses. I have since bought two more mangos with the same white gray areas in the flesh. What?

  1. Just cut off those bits, all the way to the seed if need be. I think it's a ripening glitch so that bit is inedible anyway. The rest of the mango should be fine though may spoil quicker as a whole.

    1. just trim out those spots and eat the rest. it happens as a result of extreme changes in temperature or moisture...nothing to worry about.
