Vegas Reveiw trapped at Gold Coast

Just back from Vegas and because of flight delays, being in certain places at certain times and with other people plus often stranded at the Gold Coast we had to make due with what hand we were dealt.
Sat night had dinner at Ping Pang Pong and it was excellent, affordable and plenty of it.
Sunday breakfast at the Gold Coast Ports o Call Buffet- very good for breakfast/brunch buffet
Sat lunch was a snack at Margaritaville
Sunday dinner late night snack at Cantors Deli in the Treasure Isle (forgettable)
Monday breakfast again at Ports O Call
Monday lunch at TGIF Fridays (no review needed)
Monday dinner - Mon Ami Gabi- best meal of the trip- I had a excellent steak (Bordeleise) and my wife had a beef stew type entre, all affordable an excellent.
Tuesday- breakfast - Palms 24/7 Cafe- EXCELLENT corn flake encrusted French Toast- highly reccomend.
Tuesday lunch - Ports o Call Buffet
Dinner- provided by convention I attended
Wed Breakfast- TGIFridays
Lunch- snack bar Pizza (babd)
Dinner - provided at convention.
oevr all a OK dining trip but we were limted with our location and where we were when time to eat

[The Drama Queen]

I live in Vegas and I can tell you that Mon Ami Gabi is without a doubt my favorite restaurant. We sit on the patio and "people watch" at lunch and at dinner we watch the fabulous fountains across the street at Bellagio. The food here is excellent, never had a bad meal. Three of my friends and I have birthdays within a couple of days of each other next week and this is where we go every year to celebrate. Yelp.com gives it well deserved high ratings too.

I agree that Cantor's deli is not one of my favorite spots. Once was enough. Margaritaville is a lot of fun, but a most of the food is just okay.
Curious, why were you stranded at the Gold Coast?

I was at a convention and while several folks had cars (I didn't) I seemed to alwats be at the will of dining with people that a Fridays or the buffet was a perfectly fine diniing solution. I will be back next year and hope to be more independent of others (along with my wife). We already plan to eat at Mon Ami abi again next year and Ping Pang Pond will also be a choice again though we may convince others to join along because you get too much food food1 person and you can get 2 entreesfor 4 people and be fine.
