Thanks!!! We're going to make a res. at Lexington - they are VERY accommodating and have a table in the front that is quieter. Menu is low pricing and varied for every taste(and people without taste!!!)Cafe of love we'll save for a special occasion without the elders! CH made this very simple- thanks!

Please report back here on the experience.

I would recommend Cafe of Love in Mt. Kisco. It's not huge but if you make a reservation early enough, you should be able to get a table for 10.

Kittle House is also an excellent suggestion, as is North (you could get a table upstairs if you think your grandfather can make it up the stairs).

Cafe of Love can be very noisy at night: don't know about the daytime noise level, though. Also, note that at Cafe of Love they can place you at a big table near the front window, but there's a very annoying loudspeaker piping music into that corner, right above that table.

Crabtree Kittle House in Chappaqua. Grandpa could even take a walk in the garden and fits the celebratory bill.

+1 for Lexington Square. Thought of it immediately while reading the OP.

North in Armonk would be lovely, special and celebratory. I know they can be very loud at night, but I can't imagine lunch being very loud.

In Mt. Kisco try Lexington Square Cafe - lots of little nooks and places where noise level would be quieter. Not sure if Nino's in Bedford HIlls is open for lunch but that would be a good option.
