URGENT Le Bernardin which dishes??

Hi everyone,
I'll be finally going to Le Bernardin next week for lunch.
Can you please recommend which dishes are unmissable?
Is the pounded tuna really worth it or just famous because picture perfect?
Any other overrated dish?

  1. The tuna is otherworldly. Make sure to get a bite of Fois with each bite. The turbot and the crispy black bass are also incredible. We've eaten there 3 times and have been amazed each time. Be sure to discuss wine pairings with your server or better yet the sommelier (if you're into wine). SO love the langoustines and the kingfish. Hard to go wrong there.

    1. Here is my recent review:

I would highly recommend the LANGOUSTINE, FLUKE, and the RED SNAPPER if it is the same preparations that I recently had.

I thought the pounded tuna was quite good, but not otherworldly, though I have eaten caught-that-hour yellowfin tuna at least 100 times and so it is hard for me to be blown away by a raw tuna preparation.

Thanks guys, I'm pleased the black bass came up as it was one of my targets.
No mention of lobster in your posts and others I've read say fish there is better than lobster. Do you agree?
