Quality business dinner not too far from 128 b/t Burlington and Newton

Looking for suggestions for a group of 8, ideally private dining. Location ideally not too far from Burlington area of 95/128. Quality important, but not to be overly fussy, formal or expensive.

To give you an idea, our first choice was Blue Ginger, but their private rooms are fully booked the night we want.

Anything else in Wellesley? Waltham? Burlington? Lexington? etc?

Thanks in advance, hounds! And have a great weekend!

Summer Winter, L'Andana and Cafe Escadrille, all in Burlington would work.

i would not recommend any of the above but i would highly recommend, in Lincoln, AKA bistro, closer to 128 than blue ginger(and better food). also 51 Lincoln in Newton Highlands- 5 minutes off 128.

Curious to hear your reasons why you wouldn't recommend any of the three restaurants I suggested? I could perhaps understand the Cafe Escadrille, but the reason I suggested it is because they do have private dining options. However there is nothing I can find wrong with the other two, imo.

I have probably eaten at L'Andana almost a dozen times and I have never had a bad meal. That being said, it is very pricey for what it is and where it is located. But for a business dinner it is a good option. You could also do the Capital Grille in either Chestnut Hill or Burlington. You may want to also check with Alta Strada in Wellesley although I am not sure if they have any private rooms.

fl, no intent for insult. it's all about the food, but then the moniker says it all.

I think Summer Winter would be a good choice. Haven't been to the other two.
