Dinner at the bar- Trinity and the Pope
Sat my myself- bartender made me an outstanding, not on the menu cajun martini- lined with homemade jalepeno stuffed olives. Great start. Had cajun popcorn appy....really good. The tasso ham really stood out. Then, their vaunted shrimp and grits. While it wasn't in the same league as I've had in the South, this was stick to your bones good! Ordered bread which never came...but that was the only fault in an otherwise very satisfying dinner. The bartender was a very good server who really cared about what he was doing.
An overall good experience- would go back again.
