Nice Dinner Dancing Venues

  • 3

I know that this question has been asked before but I'd like to perhaps expand the search area to the Golden Horseshoe and/or Southwestern Ontario.

My wifes 50th is comming up soon and I would really like to find a GOOD restaurant with live music to dance to during our meal. Before we were married I took her to the Rainbow Room in Manhattan. Now THAT was an experience! I cleary don't expect to find that type of venue here but it sure would be nice to find something that would be in that vein.

We did the Old Mill a number of years ago and it was ok but I don't think I would go back. Swing at the Reservoir would fit for the music but the menue is limited to salads, tapas and pizzas.

Soooooo......any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers, Steve.

  1. It's not a full dinner, but if you like dancing, the next Casa Loma Big Band dance is coming up on June 3rd. It's a great band for dancing.

    1. Hi again,

If you're still looking for spots, the Palais Royale has started up their Wednesday night dinner and dance.

I second the Palais Royale. My wife and I are ballroom dancers and they have several dates where it is open to the public. We appreciate both the dance floor and food there.
