Ham in Slow Cooker

I threw a bone in butt portion hickory ham in the slow cooker this morning with about a cup of water. Think it will be okay in there for 10 hours?

I think it will be fine on low, but if it were my ham, I would add in a can of Coke! It makes a delicious ham. Be sure to use the full sugar coke, the diet coke does not work.

you have a crockpot big enough to fit a half ham??? good lord i didn't know they made them that big.

well, yes and no. Don't you hate it when you get an answer like that?
If you are referring to a legal, sanitary viewpoint, then yes, OK.
Problem: you state 'hickory ham', what the heck is that?
Is it fully cooked, like a supermarket ham?
Is it a, gourmet, dry-cured ham ?
Well, yes and no; what do you wish to do with the finished product???
