SteakHouse in Manhatan

Hi there
I will be in NYC for the weekend of the 15th of May with my company, and after a meeting at saturday lunchtime, we are looking for a good steakhouse, not touristic place, but something properly american with good steaks, burgers etc. for a good price.
We came from London.
Any good suggestion folks?

Been going there years never a problem...what was so bad..it's a lugers knock off?

The food was awful, I mean every single thing we (a party of 4) ate. Including the steaks.

Another possibility is Smith & Wollensky's Grill. It shares a kitchen with the S&W restaurant but is more casual. Still great steaks, but also burgers and that wonderful roast beef hash.

2nd this. I like S&W more than Keens. do not miss their coconut cake too. My favorite steakhouse is Striphouse but I believe they don't do lunch.
