cocoa beach suggestions

ellimac13 Apr 21, 2011 12:44 PM

Will be staying in cocoa beach for a few days over mother's day weekend and am looking for some recommendations. We prefer locally owned non-corporate casual to fine dining. Looking for quality over price point. It's my son's college graduation and my mother will be with us from out of state as well so we are doing some serious celebrating in a short amount of time and want to make sure we are spending our time wisely! Thanks in advance!

Went to the best Seafood Shack in Cocoa Beach...its a quick 45 minute drive from MCO.
Jazzy's Mainely Lobster was one of our best meals...had the grouper sandwich which was outstanding...sweet potato fries with mac salad.
It was packed with locals and tourists and if I was staying longer I would of made that drive everyday until we left.

Next time you have to try their lobster roll!

I saw others chowing on the roll and it looked fantastic...just like in Maine.
Chris and Doug with their crew are a great group of guys and I just wish I didn't live 3,000 miles away.

I third Jazzy's lobster roll. Also we enjoy Grills in Cape Canaveral...very casual, outdoor with live music and great food...you can watch the cruise ships sail in/out with a frozen drink.

For breakfast, try the Simply Delicious Cafe & Bakery in downtown CB (125 N. Orlando Ave.)

The Heidelberg Restaurant serves good Austrian food and is very consistant. Heidi's Jazz Club next door has live music 4-5 nites a week.
