Fajita & Ritas - Catering?

ladysauce Apr 21, 2011 09:07 AM

Hello out there Boston - I feed my office every Friday for lunch, and feel like I'm running out of ideas for catering style options in Downtown Boston. I know many restaurants that are awesome, but am nervous to try their catering service sometimes. I was going to order from Fajitas & Ritas for tomorrow, as I noticed they have catering - and was wondering if anyone has tried their catering service before? If so, what did you order and how was it?

I have not ordered from there, but when our office does Mexican catering, Herrera's fits the bill wonderfully.

EXCELLENT! Thank you so much for the response. I was actually wondering about Herrera's catering as well! :D I'll go with them!

Yes, I would avoid Fajitas and Ritas altogether.

gosh, call the East Coast Grill people. They do lots of catering. Far better food than those mentioned.

I see the Redbones truck in Post Office Square all the time - just saw them yesterday as a matter of fact. Casa Razdora also does catering - & I've seen them do deliveries too.

thanks for the comment, but we are in Downtown Boston and most places in Cambridge wont deliver around lunch time. Plus, we are a smaller company, so I feel like East Coast Grll would be good for an event or another special occasion. thanks for the suggestion though.

And even if they will deliver downtown, what you expect to be an 11:30 delivery is often 15-30 minutes late due to traffic, parking, etc., right?!

I too am looking here for additional ideas. When we do our large staff meetings, we have to keep it under $500 for 60-70 people. Not easy Downtown. Pizza is always the go to, but mediocre pizza-fatigue has set in. Herrera's is great, but they do require a few days notice if for a larger group.

Ladysauce - I usually see the Redbones truck on High Street near Pearl. Not sure how much of an order they need for delivery.
Casa Razdora Is a small place - they would walk over from Water Street with your order if it wasn't too big. Here's the link to their website:
