Good cake in Nashville area?

Where can I get a good cake in the Nashville area (for a graduation party), and not one that is full of lard? Any suggestions would be appreciated

Dulce Desserts in the Edgehill Village area of Nashville.

I'm no cake expert, but I have never had anything bad from Sweet 16th Bakery in East Nashville.

Dulce would be closer to the universities, though.

I'd be interested where you've run across any cakes with lard ... anywhere ... in the last 50 years.

In addition to the suggestions below, check Fiddlecakes and Whole Foods, even.

Becker's Bakery is a Nashville institution, a real old-fashioned bakery, but they closed the intown location a while back. They still have an outpost on Lebanon Rd.
