Wilton Manors - Dinner Options

Off the drive, I recommend all of Live Rock's choices. On the drive, Galanga can't be beat...Beautiful atmosphere and an excellent dual menu of Thai and Japanese. They manage to do both quite well!

I tried Galanga the other day and I left feeling unimpressed. There are better Thai food around (I believe Thai Spice was recommended over this place). And the sushi should be skipped - since Sozo has better and fresher sushi and is only a few blocks away.

I stopped going to Galanga a few years ago because the quality went down and the prices went way up. Look up the Ft. Lauderdale location of Lemongrass Asian Bistro www.lemongrassasianbistro.com They have a great menu, food is always fresh and it's reasonably priced. I also can always count on Siam for Thai food at the south end of Wilton Drive sandwiched between the police station and Tropics Piano Bar.

For a lesser ambiance: If you want casual and supposedly the best burgers around, Bill's Filling Station. I want to get down there soon and try one soon. Burger Beast, a burger blogger, swears by them.

I finally had the pleasure of having a burger at Bill's and I can verify that they are awesome! I believe it was only $6 for a huge burger and delicious, fresh hand-cut fries.

We aren't quite regulars but my wife and I have been to Hi Life several times...She likes that she can order half sized entrees and I love the Braised Short Rib! http://www.hilifecafe.com/menu_dinner.htm

We have only been once but we really enjoyed Cafe Seville and plan on returning soon. Service was impeccable, and the tapas and wine we shared made for a nice romantic dinner. http://www.cafeseville.com/
