Brunch in a Box kit (help with dry mix recipes)

I'm financially challenged at the moment. And have to think of a present for a friend turning a significant birthday soon. He is not financially challenged. I was thinking of making a "brunch in a box" kit with flavored vodkas for bloody marys, several homemade mixes to make pancakes, muffins, etc. And maybe a cute vintage muffin tin and wrappers, some cute homemade placemats and vintage napkins. I want the whole thing to look 'homemade' with very high production values. My husband will help me with graphic design, and I can order these http://www.waresofknutsford.co.uk/pro... to present the vodka.

I dont think he is a big cook, so whatever I do should be really straightforward (add 100ml milk, 1 egg and mix) . They are into 'healthy' things so odd wholegrains would add an element of consideration.

Any foolproof mix recipes (how to assemble and how to prepare)? Any advice on infusing vodka? Maybe a lemon, celery and cucumber vodka?

reliz, I really like your ideas. I've seen mini bar books about 3 x 4 inches around or creating a drink/bar recipe done on a graphic might be fun. Infusing vodka with lime, lemons, oranges, hot peppers, or edible herbs are attractive and infuse over time. Oh and a glass for the drink would be nice addition. Very thoughtful.
