Need place to bring 20-25 co-workers for fun drinks in Cambridge or Fresh Pond

Hi Everyone,

Our offices are moving to Fresh Pond in mid-may and we're hosting a training session for executives so that everyone can see our new space. I don't know that area at all or Cambridge very well, can anyone offer advice on a place for drinks on Wednesday night as everyone arrives or dinner for everyone on Thursday night? If there is nothing in Fresh Pond I understand, but Cambridge recs or even Back Bay since that where the hotel is would be great. Budget isn't really a concern but a broadly appealing menu for the dinner might be helpful.

Thanks guy!

Check out OM Restaurant Lounge in Harvard Sq. Its a great spot for drinks and their cocktail list is very interesting. Gorgeous patio if weather holds...

Take a look at Christopher's in Porter Square. They've got an upstairs with a bar that I think you can rent out. They aren't doing anything exciting with their menu, but it should fit your "broadly appearing" request.

For dinner in Boston, Davio's. The company I used to work for in Back Bay used to use them all the time for group events, and the food and service were always outstanding. They have a private room that would fit your party.

What about Tango in Arlington? Probably 10 minutes from Fresh Pond, great with groups, lively atmosphere and tasty food.

Summer Shack should work. Loud and roomy, with plenty of fresh seafood (and options for non-fish eaters).

              I agree. But many won't.
Can Gran Gusto accommodate this size group?

I know a lot of people don't, but I really like Summer Shack for what it is. I tend to order things like the meatloaf or fried chicken (it's really good) rather than fish, which is always good but sort of overpriced. But it would be a great atmosphere for drinks/snacks.
