Here is the link for stores that carry Peanut Patch Boiled Peanuts from the parent company Margaret Holmes
http://www.margaretholmes.com/product...
Looks like some Walmart, Piggly Wiggly and IGA stores carry them. Might contact the company and see if they can narrow down your search for you.
Hope that helps.

re: Piggin out
So you want the actualy peanut to boil yourself, correct?
If that is the case I would do some digging around in the cities of DeLeon, Desdemona, and Gorman, TX as these were the centers of the peanut industry before it up and moved to GA. Commanche and Eastland counties might still have quite a few peanut farmers around. This would be your closest bet to the metroplex and would generally have large quantities as there are still huge sandy fields. I know the gal in DeLeon at the Chamber of Commerce was very helpful (she was actually from Colorado) in some information I needed. The peanut harvest is usually Late Aug - Early Oct. You will want to go about that time before they throw the peanuts in the huge dryers and then roast them. If I recall correctly then most of the peanuts are of the Spanish variety.
