Alot of fun! I had heard about this tour through the Philly Fun Guide, so it only ended up being $17.50 instead of the usual $35 for the tour. Starts at Historic Philadelphia at 6th and Chestnut. The tourguide is dressed as a Continental Soldier and stayed in character throughout the tour. He shares stories about life in Philly in the late 1700s as we walk by the various historic locations. At each of the stops, we learn songs, toasts, and other interesting tidbits while we drink and snack. The stops were:
*Omni Hotel - Yards Pale Ale & potato pancakes
*National Mechanics - Strongbow Cider & Mushroom empanadas & Plantain Chips
*Triumph Brewery - (sorry, don't remember what I drank here) Pizza & Polenta fries
*City Tavern - Rasberry Champagne & biscuit
Total time was a little over two hours. Wear comfortable shoes because there is alot of walking. Very very fun! -

Sounds great we will await your comments. As my interest was peaked I found this http://www.uwishunu.com/2008/06/histo... . Viewing
history through the bottom of an empty beer mug, great concept.Gotta love those founding fathers!
