"New" Rosengarten Report: Did It Shut Down?
Has anyone subscribed to the "new" Rosengarten Report which debuted in May 2010? I subscribed ($59.95) in September, 2010, and never received any issues (you are supposed to receive them monthly via email.) My two emails to "support" went unanswered, so I had to dispute the charge on my credit card to get my money back. So sad, because I was looking forward to it. Any similar stories? http://www.rosengartenreport.com/ Just a fair warning to those who may be tempted to subscribe.

I subscribed to "The Rosengarten Report" for about two with no problem. The magazine was excellent, by the way. Then they converted to being web-based only--no physical magazine was provided. Then I renewed (for the web-based magazine) and, suddenly, after about four months. the report stopped coming. I called the phone number provided and was informed that David Rosengarten had discontinued publication to devote himself to other matters. The woman on the other end of the phone offered a refund and I am uncertain whether one was sent to me or not, due to a change of address on my part about that time.
A few years later, I received the notice of the 2010 "restart" of "The Rosengarten Report" and, once again, signed up. I got a few issues by going the website, but I don't think they ever started e-mailing me notices of the new issue, as promised. Frankly, at that point, I forgot about it, until I read the commentary above. I will be curious to see if they "restart" the magazine again.

I used to subscribe to this Report as well. I have kept every issue, but I am missing one--the very first issue. I've tried contacting the Rosengarten Report "support" team, but I haven't received a response. Does anyone have a copy of the very first issue to share (the issue is about dim sum)? I would be happy to swap any issues you are looking for. Thanks very much.
