Jacksonville Recommendations - Easter Weekend

MSP Chowhounder here. We're headed to JAX this weekend for Easter and will be staying out at Atlantic Beach. It won't be a long stay, but I'm looking for recommendations for Friday night, Saturday (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner), and Monday (super early breakfast, possibly). We love all types of restaurants and cuisine - being from MSP though we especially love fresh seafood when we can get it so that's high on the list. We will also have a rental car, so driving isn't an issue, although we'd like to stick to the Atlantic Beach, downtown JAX, Riverside/Avondale areas if at all possible. We've seen 13 Gypsies and Culhane's Irish Pub on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives - are these good options or should we go elsewhere? Thanks!

Its a 45 minute drive from the Beaches to 13 Gypsies. So choose your destinations carefully. I have not had the best luck at the beaches. But I hear good things about the Brasserie and the Homestead on Beach. Atomic Flying Fish Tacos has outstanding food in a very basic setting. The Lemon Drop at the Sea Horse Hotel looks interesting. And Taco-Lu is awful.

13 Gypsies is fantastic, but tiny... reservations are a must. You might like Metro Diner, don't know anything about Culhane's never heard any of my circle of food savvy locals talk about it- I'd give it a pass. Orsay is fantastic in Riverside, Ellen's Kitchen in Jax Beach is a local institution- for b-fast. Chew downtown is also very good.
