Does Frances take walk-ins?

Does anyone know if Frances reserves any tables for walk-ins? They're quite fully booked on OpenTable during the time I'll be in SF, but I don't mind a long wait if they reserve a few tables for walk-ins.

Thanks in advance.

As far as I can tell they don't reserve any tables for walk-ins, just the bar which has about eight seats. I went on a Saturday night at 5:30pm, only to discover that they actually opened at 5:00pm. Bad timing, because I basically had to wait for all the parties at the bar to eat their entire meals. My boyfriend and I ended up getting seated at around 6:45pm.

Hope this isn't viewed as a thread hijack, but I'm wondering about the answer to the more general question. Is there a list somewhere of the walk-in policies of various SF restaurants? I've seen quite a few threads on individual places, but this type of database would be a great complement to OpenTable.

I've walked in and gotten a seat, but it was a TINY seat at the bar. If I go again I'd definitely get a reservation. Great food though.

They do. Walk in at 5:30 and you are almost guaranteed to get a table.
