ISO: Pavlova and zucchini flowers

Someone told me it's easy to make... but i am a terrible baker and cannot separate eggs... So, does anyone know where I can buy one?

Also, this is totally unrelated, but when and where can i start finding zucchini flowers??

Thanks!

Spotted some at Atwater this evening: Mme Pinsonneault near the poissonerie. Didn't ask how much as she was packing up for the evening

If I weren't going to eat them myself, I'd invite to have some of the many zucchini flowers from my garden!

A pav really isn't hard. If necessary, buy an egg separator and see if that helps!

You don't have to bake if you don't enjoy it, but if the only issue preventing you from making Pavlovas is your inablity to seperate the egg whites, I suggest buying cartons of egg whites at any grocery store.

They usually have pavlova at Tourtiere Australienne on Parc near Mount-Royal - http://www.tourtiereaustralienne.ca/

I don't usually see zucchini flowers til the middle of summer - July-ish, I think. They have them at the Birri stand at the Jean-Talon Market, but they sometimes run out early. Yum.

Is it the time of the year for zucchini flowers yet? I went to Atwater Market around 9 today and didn't see any.... any restaurants serving them on their seasonal menu?

it's definitely time for them, but I haven't seen many. the last time I had them in a resto was at APDC, stuffed with some kind of cheese and deep fried. oh what a treat!
