Looking for the best hamburger restaurant

Hi, I am looking for the best hamburger restaurant in San Francisco. Just to give an example of some of the places we have tried. Joe's Cable Car restaurant was over priced and nothing special. Their burgers were bland but the french fries were great. But I am not interested in going to a hamburger restaurant to have great fries. The best burger I had was in Santa Cruz called Burger but that too far to drive to. They use grassfred beef and they use briquets. They have so much flavor.

Thanks,

It may be nostalgia, or booze, but I like the burgers at the Grubstake on Pine & Polk. Especially the nugget burger.

Charcoal-grilled and great beef, try Namu. It's not a burger place but the burger is great.

My favorite burger place would have to be Mo's in North Beach. That said, my favorite burger of 2010 came from Mission Beach Cafe.

I had that burger last weekend, (Mission Beach Cafe) and it was indeed excellent. Really good fries along with it, too.
