Ideas for celebratory family gathering in central Connecticut?

So, the specifics are: 14 people, ranging in age from 20 to 88. One person in a wheelchair, so preferably somewhere that is easily accessible. I'm a vegetarian, but I'm the only one, so there doesn't need to be a huge vegetarian selection but it'd be nice if I could have something other than a salad or risotto. Everyone else will eat almost anything, although Italian would make my side of the family happy. A good wine list is a must.

As for atmosphere, I'd prefer a relaxed, fairly quiet restaurant that my 88-year-old grandmother doesn't have to get dressed up for. It is a celebration, though (engagement), so not too relaxed!

Places that I'm considering include The Cottage in Plainville, as well as the Grist Mill and Piccolo Arancio in Farmington. I've been to all three and had good experiences, but never with a large group.

If anyone has any suggestions, that'd be wonderful - maybe experiences you've had as a similarly sized group, or just places in the area that have amazing food that I might have overlooked.

Ah, Mill on the River! I forgot about that place. I've been a few times and loved it.

Of your choices so far, I would say Cottage and Piccolo Arancio have the best food and
      Grist Mill the best view.

Max Amore in Glastonbury has great food and a private room. Pasco's in Windsor is also a nice place, quiet, different rooms, good food.
