Chelsea nice enuff for adults but with little kids in tow?

  • 7

Friends are in town from LA and we wanted to get together with them for dinner after taking them to the High Line. They had reservations at Spice Market but the restaurant can't add another couple with child to their reservation at the time we want.

So it's 4 adults and 2 children. We'd like to stay in that area. We'd like something adults would like (and perhaps different enough from what they might get in LA) but that kids would like too. I was thinking Izakaya on 10. But I don't really know that part of town.

  1. Co. has great creative pizza options for adults, and straightforward pizza options for the little ones.

    1. Cookshop, Red Cat and Scarpetta are all nice options if you can get in.

Not appropriate for little kids, in my opinion...

I've been to Cookshop several times with young kids....they welcome kids, they have highchairs...

        1. Those are all great options. Also, if it's a nice day and you feel like a stroll, Gradisca on W13 can't be beat for good food and kid-friendliness. Grand Sichuan and Legend are pretty good with kids too if your pals want Chinese.

          1. How old are the kids and can they sit still for 90 mins?
