1 family: vegetarian, carnivores and foodies: Can this birthday be saved?

Hello!

We want to celebrate DD's birthday at a special festive "occasion" restaurant. She's a foodie, so am I! However, DDIL is a vegetarian, while DH and DS both pretty much hate Asian food of any kind, which knocks out Puck's unfortunately.

Any suggestions? I though of Lucia, but their "sample" menu does not list any plain pasta dishes -- would they accommodate a vegetarian request?

Call Lucia and ask for Jennifer. She runs the front of the house and is the chef's wife. I'll bet they can accommodate a vegetarian, especially with a bit of advanced notice.

With a few days call ahead notice, most any restaurant will accommodate special diets. Just make certain to speak with the manager and not just whoever answers the phone.
