Who's going? I intended to go last yr in LA to theirs, but had a prior engagement. I plan on going tomorrow. Anyone have advice/comments on previous years? How often does the shuttle bus run from Glenmont Metro to the festival?

There should be previous threads on this. Mango sticky rice lady (you'll know her by the line) is my favorite by far. She has black sticky rice with mango. Great place to get all your thai basil plants, thai peppers, kaffir lime trees, etc. There is lots of mediocre food so it helps to go with a veteran if you can. If you get there by 8 you can still find good parking.

The shuttle is very easy to use, and it runs back and forth constantly.

Advice: Get there early. By mid-day, you will absolutely not believe how packed it gets. Some of the more interesting food vendors are located on both sides of a rather tight lane in the middle - after a while you will not be in charge of your own movements. There is a woman in the middle who does a floating market noodle soup that is very delicious. Lines will be long. The places where the lines are not so long are not long for a reason. There will be many vendors selling the exact same stuff. Later in the day, they will have to beg people to buy their stuff.
