Al Di La and Noodle Pudding are excellent places to go all out. Not exactly Convivio or Per Se, but pretty damn good. Noodle Pudding should NOT be discounted because of the sins of the past. Just try the risotto.

I don't go to any high end gourmet places in Brooklyn.
          My favorite non-pizza places are:
Tripoli on Atlantic Ave for authentic Syrian food
Juniors for strawberry cheese pie, pastrami sammiches and egg creams
Brennan and Carr for roast beef sammiches, triple dipped with sauteed onions
Roll and Roaster for everything slathered with melted cheese
          and of course:
Nathan's Coney Island for the best hot dog eating experience in the world.

386 Flatbush Avenue Ext, Brooklyn, NY 11201

          Brennan & Carr
3432 Nostrand Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11229

2901 Emmons Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11235

Nathan's in Coney Island. Nothing tops that place; especially a well done frank and the fries.

            Nathan's Famous
