Anything better than Peter Havens.---looking for something special and romantic. What about a typical Vermont inn?

In Brattleboro there is nothing "better" than Peter Haven's which is an excellent restuarant.
As for an "typical" VT inn, not in Brattleboro per se you would have to travel as short distance. There is the Chesterfield Inn in NH and up in Newfane the Four Columns Inn.
