Opening in may : http://www.quaisduvieuxport.com/muvbo...
Obviously, the one in Paris is just another Muvbox. Same concept but different food. It's pretty clear in the article "The first MuvBox opened in Montreal in June 2009, followed by another in Toronto (Brookfield Place) and the Eiffel Tower version is set to open Saturday, April 16th."

It's too late........the Muvbox has moved to Paris.
Here's a link to a recent article:

Last year it opened on the 15th of May. There are reviews on this board from past seasons, there are fans and detractors.

re: Daiya
I like the lobster rolls -where else can you get a good snack in old montreal but wish they would change their bread to a more artisanal kind and get rid of cape cod chips in a bag. I am a fan of the whole setup and sometimes order the lobster pizza. You can see the lobster rolls, concept in this video

according to this report in la presse, the opening date this year is May 21

re: celfie
I cannot imagine they would be cooking up live lobsters for the quantity they need, I have had canned lobster in large tins directly from les iles de la madeleine the taste was fine for me. When I get a coffee and muffin in the bistros I end up paying close to $5 and figure the lobster at 8.95$ is a healthier choice + not much else in that price range when down in old montreal. But then I also use canned tuna and salmon in sandwiches, salads rather than freshly cooked, so clearly does come down to individual preferences. I have had excellent lobster rolls in East coast of the states and Canada but they have an advantage that Montreal will never have since we dont have lobsters residing in the St. Lawrence river! We also enjoy that area of old montreal as less touristy and can sit at picnic tables or under the awning +watch the boats going through the locks. The lobster rolls are popular choice for vegetarians in my family (:

re: wilmagrace
I just find it gimmicky. they haven't offered anything but a lesser version of cape cod/maine at a premium. By the way, lobster dressed in mayo on white bread isn't healthy. i have no problem with canned fish but you can't charge $14.95 for a small soup and lobster roll when the seafood comes from a can!!!!

re: celfie
i know but the hamburgers i buy in montreal fast food places are on white bread too, no choice unfortunately and I am trying to cut down on red meat. I would never order the lobster combo meal as not a deal but can afford the single lobster roll so that is all i was suggesting for those who want to give it a try when having a need for some food in overpriced old montreal. I agree you should not go back as obviously not your thing but our family enjoys our outings to muvbox-my kids like the thin crust lobster pizza, no mayonnaise there, so you are right that would be the healthier choice, we usually share it all.
