Honolulu Recs?

On our way back from Kauai, we have a four hour lay-over in Honolulu. Any suggestions on how to spend the time? We've never been on Oahu. Are there any cuisines that aren't available on Kauai?

What time of day will your layover be?

For midday, I would head to Nico's on the harbor.

For the evening, though 4 hours is short, Indigo on the edge of ChinaTown is a quick cab ride. I have done it with 5 hours, but that was in pre-TSA days.

In HNL, Kona Brewery is not bad, by airport food standards.

Enjoy, and give yourself enough time. If you had 5 - 6 hours today, I would suggest Alan Wong's on King's St. for dinner, but with any traffic, the rides could be an issue. In the past, I have done that too, but nowadays, I am very cautious on TSA lines.
