Shrimp and Grits for breakfast?

Where does one go for a good Low-Country style shrimp and grits for breakfast?

A little research revealed that Nook, Firefly and perhaps First & Hope all offer shrimp and grits, but only for dinner.

Any suggestions?

Killer Shrimp in the Marina has them. They were good but not great.

Canele serves a delicious one that is on their chalkboard menu and to my knowledge only served during breakfast/brunch Sat and Sun.

Palihouse in West Hollywood had it on their brunch menu. It wasn't traditional, but it was pretty good. They have a nice outdoor patio to dine in too!

I just checked their online menu and no-go. In fact, no shrimp & grits offered at any time of the day.

Just went to Good... they don't have shrimp and grits but they have tilapia and grits...

Mmmm... Just had homemade cheesy grits with fried eggs and sriracha. If you're interested in trying DIY, I use Bob's Red Mill polenta corn grits, available for purchase at Sprout's Market and maybe Figueroa Produce in Highland Park. One part grits to five parts water. Parmesean cheese is an easy flavor booster.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Elements serve shrimp and grits?

I believe that First and Hope no longer offers that dish, though it was on the Dine LA prix fixe menu. But Firefly definitely serves shrimp and grits for brunch.

Indeed it does, but only for brunch. I guess shrimp and grits for breakfast is passé.

I think Bob's Red Mill is also available at most major supermarkets. I get mine from Ralphs or Albertsons sometimes.

I know Firefly also offers the shrimp and grits during brunch on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
