Vegetarian lunch in Sausalito

We'll be stopping in Sausalito on our way from Muir Woods to Palo Alto (we're going to SF the next day for a few days) and would like to have lunch there. However, it seems like most of the places are fish-heavy and we don't eat fish. I'm at a loss of where to go and may have to just eat somewhere in SF (oh, how terrible!) but I'd rather have a meal in Sausalito so as to not have to make a pit stop in SF or wait another hour and a half to eat in Palo Alto.

Harmony in the Strawberry Village Shop. Center has a numerous veg dim sum and other offerings. It'll be a nice place to relax before the drive to PA. There's also Pizza Antica in the same complex if you're in the mood for pizzas, salads or pasta. And La Boulangerie for various salads, soups and baked goodies...

There is a way to get to Mill Valley through a circuitous route from Muir Woods by Sequoia Valley Rd down to Miller. Perhaps a stop in Mill Valley before Sausalito will find you a veggie meal.

Yes, I was going to suggest Avatar's Punjabi Burritos in Mill Valley.

I love Avatar's. I've only been to the restaurant in Sausalito, which is basically on your route. The manager is very accommodating.

The other great vegetarian option on that route is pizza at Picco in Larkspur. Slight detour, but not really, and the pizza, salads, and ice cream are delicious.

I have been to Avatar's in Mill Valley. The food is really good, and the atmosphere is very casual. It is a unique blend of cuisines with an interesting history.

Have you looked at menus? Both FISH and Le Garage have a couple vegetarian options, if you don't mind a salad, sandwich or pasta. Is that too boring?
