Lunch for 6 Women near Marriott Marquis

rjlebed Apr 15, 2011 12:15 PM

I will be at a conference at the Marriott mid-May and am looking for a restaurant near the Marriott to meet with some friends/colleagues for lunch. I would like to avoid the hotel restaurants but need to be close enough for some of the women to get back to the Marriott by 1:00. So, lunch around 11:30..... Early, but needs to be... Any suggestions?!! Thanks.

Amber India is right downstairs (but it is not a hotel restaurant!)

If you do a search for "convention center" or "Moscone" center you should get plenty of hits. Note that even though the address is correct, the place marker on google maps is wrong -- it's on 4th just off Market (aka the Jukebox Marriott), not on Folsom.

Thanks. Any thoughts on some place near there that would allow us to eat well but not have too much noise so we can catch up?

Pazzia's on Third just south of Folsom. Very good pizza and pasta. It's three blocks.

Closer, Tropisueño has good Mexican in comfortable surroundings.

If your companies are paying, go to Seasons at the Four Seasons (if they're open for lunch).
