I was going to order them, but I can't see spending $42 shipping on a $26 order.

Thanks! Maybe I won't have to offer my first-born while ordering from Michigan, My first-born will be happy about that.

Bazaar Russian Market on Beacon St in Brookline had fresh ones last week. You might want to check to see if they still have them.

I get frozen pitted sour cherries from the Russian market in Washington Square. I can't remember its name, but it's close to the Starbucks and Emack and Bolio's. I've never used fresh, but these frozen ones make a mighty tasty pie.

That does seem like a lot for shipping, but I have paid for shipping from Michigan. Maybe you can get a larger quantity with comparatively cheaper shipping because buying in large quantity, and split the order with a friend.

I think I read somewhere that Baza has them frozen when they aren't available fresh?
