Special Dining Out Experience in Atlanta

  • g
  • 3

I will be visiting my much younger brother in Atlanta later this month and will be taking him out for his 47th birthday. Saw the chow post for Holeman and Finch Public House and liked what I saw on their website. Been to the Atlanta Fish Market in Buckhead and had a great experience. Are there other restaurants foodies would recommend for a special dining out experience in the Atlanta area?

  1. Well, I guess it depends on what you mean by "special."
Most people (with varying opinions and experiences) using a typical definition, would define special as:
    Bacchanalia
    Aria
    Restaurant Eugene

Then you get in the really really good category (but they are less formal). Still could be considered special.

    Woodfire Grill
    Antica Posta
    Sotto Sotto
    Abbatoir
    Floataway Cafe
    Miller Union
    Dogwood

    1. agree with RC--- i wouldnt out Holeman in the special category, its very good though.Tell us what type food you like, and we can be more specific--id add McKendricks to my special list, but to me Bacchanellia is the best in Atl, and Aria (esp if you like ossubucco) is very close
