Breakfast on the A,C Line Bklyn

We will be staying a week in Brooklyn probably going into the city each day on the train.
Would like to find a great breakfast spot we can make our go to breakfast stop each day on the way into the city preferable close to a transfer spot ie Jay St/Borough hall, Lafayette/ Atlantic Ave.
Under $10 per person would be great for the go to, but also interested in any other great breakfast spots on a weekday.
Thanks

Clark's Restaurant, corner of Clark & Henry St. is a good enough diner. Short walk to High St. Station.

Hey kiki2U, I have a number of recommendations to pick up a fast bite on the way into manhattan. I'm gonna go in order from deepest in brooklyn all the way to the river.

Not sure where you're coming from exactly, but I can say without a doubt that this spot in well worth going backwards for, especially in the morning when the pastry is fresh. Zero attitude, excellent fresh baked goods, great coffee, free wireless. Just a great scene in general, and cheap too. Clinton Washington C

        Brooklyn Fare
This is basically a bodega on steroids, with excellent coffee (La Colombe I believe). Just get some fresh fruit and a yogurt and hop back on the train. Right outside the Hoyt Schemmerhorn A/C, Hoyt side.

        La Bagel Delight
This is a chain with a spot right at the Jay St. A/C. A really solid new york bagel and a coffee with classic whaddayawant service. Probably the fastest fast breakfast I mention here.

        Almondine Bakery
Excellent croissants. Get there early. Lovely city view and just an amazing area to explore. Do yourself a favor and make a full morning of it. High St. A/C

Good luck! Spend some quality time in BK as well!

David's Brisket House and Ms Dahlia's both on Nostrand (and both right off the AC stop of the same name) are good breakfast spots. Would also check out Mile End, which is 2 blocks off the AC at Hoyt. Closer to Borough Hall you're mostly going to find generic diners. Not bad choices but nothing spectacular.
