Marty's liquor store in Newton has a deli counter and has it. I'm pretty sure Russo's in Watertown also has it.

METROWEST vendor: whole foods, sudbury. if they don't have it, they could get it from their fresh pond store for you i think. also, isn't there a well known middle eastern/and gourmet grocer in dedham that i seem to remember?

I was told by Whole Foods that they couldn't get it for me. :-(
Thanks for all of the suggestions though - I ended up using a European-style ham as a sub but will keep this in mind the next time.

Its not Metrowest but I believe Russo's carries La Quercia (acorn fed from Iowa) and I know they carry Niman Ranch Jamon Royale (different but a nice ham).
Panzano in Southboro (next door to Tomasso) claims to carry a spanish jamon from a Mangalitsa hybrid so they might be worth a call in the future.

I've seen both Jamon de Bayona and Serrano @ Russo's.
