Where do I get ghee?

Where do I get ghee (clarified butter)? Even Whole Foods didn't have any. Why isn't it more popular?

I usually get it at Mississippi Market, but it's easy enough to make.

I've seen it at Kowalski's on Grand Avenue and Lund's in highland Park.

most of the Cub Foods I have been to have it in the 'Indian' section of the "ethnic food" aisle

I'd expect most Indian groceries would have jars of ghee. My "usual" is the place formerly known as Patel's - now Little India - on Central Ave at 18th.

You can get it at Mississippi Market on Selby if you don't want to make your own. Or at any if the Indian foods stores. Delites of India on Lake Street in Uptown would also probably have it.
