Are there any good recipes out there using either white cardamom pods or granulated cardamom? I was given both and have never used either. It's got a great smell I guess it is mainly used in deserts. I was also given some pink peppercorns and while I here about them from time to time, I am clueless how to best use these little gems.

Thank you so much for that. Some great recipes. Can't wait to try some. It smells delicious!

    2. I use cardamon every year for making bread. Typically I make Pulla, the Finnish version. I also sometimes add it to my coffee.

      1. This cardamom-yogurt pudding is a staple for me. I remove the little seeds from the pods & grind them fresh:

This looks so good. Thank you. I will try it this weekend.

        2. Look for lots of savory uses in the cuisines of south Asia and south east Asia.
In India it is used extensively in both sweet and savory dishes.
here is one to get you started

          1. Great in any kind of milk dessert like rice pudding or ice cream. Along with nuts! (pistachios or almonds). I also usually add cinnamon and saffron.

            Also great in baked breads/pastries.
