  1. Go Burger is the latest greatest. Get the smashed burger and skinny fries. http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/741872

I was very underwhelmed by Go Burger. Mac and cheese came out cold, sent back and came back luke warm and still cool in center. Burger was ok, nothing more. Duck fat fries were unforgettable, kind of a stuck together mess. The place is not worth the price.

    2. Haven't yet made it to Delphine, at the W Hotel across from the Pantages, but I've heard good things.

I would say Delphine is "scary bad." Had a rancid shellfish platter recently.

      2. We went to a show there not to long ago and we went to Umami Burger. We didn't want to have to feel "dressed up" for dinner because we were going to a rock concert that was standing room only. I like the casual environment of Umami and great beer and service and Burger of course!

        1. For walking distance Off Vine is pretty reliable, if not earth shattering. Cafe Was is nearby. Haven't tried but might be interesting.

          1. Cleo at the Redburry hotel is a couple of blocks away. It's a fun atmosphere for pre-show drinks, and the food is very good (especially for a SBE Hotel). There is a thread about it here: http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/736859 I agree with the other posters. I expected it to be bad or so-so, but I was very happy with the place.

Not too fond of the Delphine at the W. It's O.K. But just O.K.
