DOES IT EXIST?

  1. Not true mustard as iit is considered kitinyot -

    1. Mustard seed is chometz, so it's a technical impossibility. There are some spurious KFP "mustard" products out there that are awful.

It's kitnoyot. So there may be a brand l'ochlei kitniyot. If it exists, it would be Israeli. And you'd have to find out if anyone is importing it. But any observant Ashkenazi guests wouldn't eat it.

My bad; all these years I was thinking it was due to it being chometz. Go figure.

We eat kitniyot...my SIL from Israel said they have it, just wondering if anyone has seen it here...

        2. It's fake. I bought it last year and thought it tasted like horseradish.

If someone in Israel is producing mustard for Pesach, Stores here should import it, if they aren't doing so yet.

i would think importing klp mustard just to sell for Passover is not so likely to happen since the market here is mostly ashkenazim who don't eat mustard on pesach and stores would be stuck with it for a while. Bornibus from France is kosher for Passover for kitniyot users and has been available in the US.
