    Clearly.

Otherwise you wouldn't be craving it. Unless you're under the influence of 9 beers and a persuasive and attractive Québécoise, as I was when I last had it 15 years ago.

For many of those things, you'd be very well off right here in Montreal. Can't vouch for the grits, though. But then again, all of those things are extremely simple (and rewarding!) to make by yourself.

Being a Quebecoise myself ,I special order curd cheese ( from the east coast )at whole food . I have 10 bl in my freezer as we speak and I get my family back home to send packets of the sauce now and then . I go to Angelo's burger and get 2-3 orders of fresh cut french fries to go and make poutine all the time at home ! ....Theyre is nothing like it around here so When I make it for friends with a cold beer ....Priceless :)

        2. Oh- I make a Peanut Butter and Nutella sandwhich nearly every morning- over it.

But not to rain on the thread.....; )

          1. I just couldn't imagine you fanging down a bowl of poutine (carb overload) but, softshell crabs, which are in season soon, YES!

            1. Blue Water has a soft-shell crab sandwich. Poutine is on Alchemy's brunch menu, and is very tasty.

Cheeseburger on brioche bun can be found at Cafe 910.

Watermelon juice is sold in containers ready-to-go at People's Co-Op and Whole Foods (Juice Evolution makes it).

                Nothing like fresh watermelon juice!

              2. The MIHO Gastrotruck offers poutine.

It's just OK. Alchemy's kills it.

The problem is a lack of cheese curds in San Diego.

I have seen cheese curds from time to time at both Trader Joes and at Vennissimo Cheese in Mission Hills.
