Crab Cakes?

Can anyone recommend any restaurant that has decent Crab Cakes on there menu?

I'm looking for something in Toronto, perferably closer to downtown or East TO.

  1. Not a restaurant, but Domenic's Fish in SLM makes excellent crab cakes for purchase. You can pan fry them up at home.

    I quite like them

I really like the curry crab cakes at Insomnia on Bloor.

Also, Fire on the East Side has nice crab cakes.

        Both are downtown. Good luck!

Zee Grill (Mt. Pleasant, south of Eglinton) has a good crab cake appetizer that I imagine they would be willing to turn into a main if you ask them.

Buster's Sea Cove at the rear of the south SLM has amazing crab cakes.

I'll have to say that i haven't had a real outstanding crab cake in toronto yet.
i find the Buster's sea cove one to be extremely overwhelmed with the roasted red peppers they put in it.
