4 Rivers Smokehouse opened a second location in Winter Garden FLA at 1047 S. Dillard St on Tuesday, April 5, 2011. Located in the former Top Wok restaurant building, the Smokehouse is about 15 miles southwest of the first location and occupies more than 2,780-square-feet of interior space (twice the size of the Winter Park location). The free-standing outparcel building also offers additional seating and the convenience of a drive-thru.

    2. My wife's family lives in Clermont and I come visit 3 or so times a year. Since reading about the original 4 rivers a couple years ago, I've been itching to try the brisket whenever I come to town. It's the only restaurant I want to go to when we come to town, but for one reason or another, I can never get there. Well, I just spent the past week visiting and I was determined to get to 4 Rivers even if I had to go it alone. I found myself freed up one afternoon, looked up the 4 Rivers web site to get the address, and found that one had opened up in Winter Garden! Woo Hoo! 15 minutes from my in-laws. I was not terribly hungry so I just ordered the brisket sandwich, okra and fries. The brisket was good, if slightly on the dry side. Flavor spot on. The sides were meh. Should have gone with something else, but I can't turn down fried okra. Definitely coming back when we come back to visit this Fall.

Does the Winter Garden location have indoor seating? I have out of town guests coming this weekend (staying near Disney), and I'm hoping to take them there on Saturday evening.

From what I recall, there were 2 or 3 community tables inside with several booths. There is also a large outside eating area under a covered deck. Outside area had many large community tables and a bar that went along the sides. There are fans blowing with misters in the outside eating area. While I was eating a huge downpour came on and they were able to cover up the deck and keep everyone dry. I ended up eating outside and as humid/wet as it was, it was actually kinda pleasant.

          Hope that helps.

Thank you! Now I just hope the line isn't ridiculously long on Saturday. I've only ever been to the Winter Park location, and then only when I call ahead and get my food to go.
