Launceston
We've hired a car for the long weekend and are heading north to Launy. We have reservations at Stillwater. Any other suggestions? I'm hoping something will be open on Good Friday. Hope to visit some vineyards. We did have a steak at Black Cow last time, and it was delicious.

Thank you - lunch at Strathlynn was wonderful. Beautiful to look at and the food is delicious. We created our own degustation and tried all five main dishes.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/haynes/s...We ate at Black Cow again and it is my favorite steak place in Tassie and open late for walk ins if you are willing to wait a bit. We had to split a 400 g steak, too much for one person! We didn't go to the berry farm, maybe next time. We had lunch at Pipers Brook on Good Friday, one of the few wineries open on Good Friday. I enjoyed visiting Iron Pot, Bay of Fires, Josef Chromy, and Sinapius.
