Family-style Vietnamese

I just returned to Toronto from a ten-month stay in Hanoi, Vietnam. I want to invite my friends to eat Vietnamese food family-style. However, all of the Vietnamese restaurants that I have found online appear to serve only individual portions of food. As long as it's family style, I'm not too picky about whether it has northern or southern food. If there truly are no Vietnamese restaurants in Toronto that serve food family style then I'll probably be taking everyone to Hanoi 3 Seasons. Thanks a lot for your help!

Saigon Star does, but it's in Richmond Hill. It's been many years since I've eaten there, so can't comment on the quality, but the curry dungeness crab is frequently raved about. http://www.saigonstartoronto.com/inde...

You can go to vietnamese restaurants that serve the "7 course beef", that is always family style.

For regular dinner dishes served family style, the only times I've had it have been at vietnamese "karaoke" bars....they are pretty seedy places though IMO. I would not recommend the avg chowhounder to go.
