I haven't been to La Montée de Lait but a friend of mine went there recently and had the six-course tasting menu and loved it. The restaurant and menu sounds like it may be comparable to perhaps Au Cinquième Péché without the small plates, though I hear ACP is moving so I don't know if it's still in its current spot. Another place could be Les Héritiers, also in the Plateau, which has le menu dégustation at various prices and is also in the Plateau. Both have meat and non-meat items available.
