Cholent for Pesach

I have a Pesachdik crock pot and going to attempt to make a cholent for Shabbat of Pesach--anyone do this and have a good recipe? Would quinoa be a good substitute for barley?

  1. I think it would - the other challenge is the beans -

    1. I tried it last year (but I made it in the oven). It was really delicious. I used qunioa, Mushrooms and Meat in addition to poatoes and you can try different kinds of root vegetables. It is fine withou the beans. Enjoy.

        The way we've done it in the past is more of a vegetable goulash than cholent, but basically the same concept with root vegetables.

      2. use matzah balls in the chulent. deadly, but delicious.

        1. someone previously mentioned Yaptzok. I had it once and loved it. The only recipes I could find online were w/o meat. Does anyone have a recipe?
