bachelorette party help in the Grove
I need to plan a bachelorette party in the Grove and dinner (and after!) for a large group.
I live in Broward and know nothing about going out in Miami.
I need restaurant ideas that are not expensive, have a fun atmosphere, and can accommodate 20-ish
people (kids and Gramdmas for dinner, too)
Any after-dinner ideas are also appreciated.....
Scotty's Landing is fun, outdoors and has live music weekends. If you must be indoors - Jaguar can handle 20 people.

If you are looking for good food, I would not do Scotty's. It's great for drinks and fried apps but that's about it. Their Friday nights are a ton of fun w/ live music but I dont think they take reservations.
You might be better off at Monty's in the Grove. Food is a little bit better there though not fantastic but serviceable. Jaguar is a great choice for food and atmosphere. Spartico might also be able to accommodate though I admit I've not been to dine there. Greenstreet also might be able to accommodate indoors and is average fare at an average price.
Not really sure where to tell you to go for after dinner. I live in the Grove but don't really go out there except Scott'ys and that closes around 10-11p. There's a bunch of new spaces that I haven't tried, mainly because they cater to the college crowd mostly.

re: Blind Mind
Thanks for your responses. We're actually having the rehearsal dinner at Calamari.
I did have lunch last week at Lulu and liked it a lot. I e-mailed them about having a large group, but haven't heard back yet.
Do you know where the college kids hang out at night? We are staying near CocoWalk and didn't want to have to rent a car...
Thanks so much!!!
