  1. Do you mean Marri's on Katella? If so, the usual red sauce stuff and occasionally their cheese bread. Rufino's is better, though.

I never thought of trying these places because I figure since its near Disneyland they must suck because they can rest on location and high prices would be part of the deal. But since I find myself spending ridiculous money at Naples Ristorante in Downtown Disney--maybe these places are okay.

You're not going to get blown away by it, but it's one of the better options in the immediate area.

Well Rufino's looks better from the pictures of the food, I reckon with your tip that I am going to hit that place up soon. I just have less tolerance for driving out these days. It seems like Orange County has fewer choices and many places that were good before don't seem as good. What do you think Ubergeek?

Hm. I never seem to run out of good places to eat so I don't think I agree with that, though I will say that I have been finding a lot of hyped-up places that are just that... hype.

Neither Rufino's nor Marri's is five-star. But if you're looking for red-sauce Ital-Am in that part of Anaheim, go to Rufino's rather than Marri's. I also like Luigi's D'Italia—their pizza is good.

Maybe its because a lot of places I used to go to closed. Like Village Bakery, etceteras, there's a lot more stuff like Lazy Dog Cafe. Plus now I have less patience to driving further away. Lastly I have to eat out all the time nowadays.

For pizza, I much prefer Marri's to Rufino's. Never had pasta at either place, so I can't say which is better.

I can't say I've ever had the pizza at Rufino's. My recommendation was based on the cooked dishes.

Ruffino's pizza looks better than Marri's on their websites' photos.

ok, maybe i'll try rufino's instead...
